Les Cahiers d'Allhis n°8 - Translations, translators and (re)translated women: The place of sources
Academic work
Under the direction of Marian Panchón Hidalgo
This work, at the crossroads of different geographical areas (Argentina, Canada, Spain, United States, France, Italy, Mexico, Ukraine), aims to continue the reflection on gender studies and sources, but by integrating the question of translation throughout history. The ten contributions of this volume, classified in chronological order — from the 18th to the 21st century — aim not only to highlight the work carried out by women translators who are often sidelined, but also to make visible sometimes forgotten women writers who are nevertheless beginning to be recovered and therefore translated today.
