After the scandals caused by the revelation of sexual abuse of young boys committed by members of the clergy (in the United States, Ireland, Austria, etc.) and then the "schism" that followed the ordination of openly homosexual bishops in the Anglican and then Episcopal Church, a serious investigation was necessary. Are more men of the Church than in other circles to have a homosexual orientation? What credible discourse can the Churches hold in the face of this reality? What can be said to lay people living in homosexual couples and committed to their Church?

Fascinating book, I said, because of its exhaustiveness and its format. Each chapter is composed of a text by the author and one or two interviews with specialists. The reading is thus made clearer and more lively, the questions asked during the interviews often echoing those that one asked oneself while reading the text in the preamble to the chapter.
