US President Believes Earth Is Flat

It could have been Donald Trump , but no, it's not him (at least not yet...)! During Donald Trump's term, however, we were able to discover, or rediscover, that a president of the United States is not chosen based on his scientific skills . Nor even on his ability to listen to scientists.
But this is not new!
Andrew Jackson , who was President of the United States from 1829 to 1837, was convinced that the Earth was flat . That doesn't stop him from having his image on every $20 bill today!
In Thomas Segal's Encyclopedia of the Useless , you can learn this, but also, in bulk:
- that General de Gaulle was not a general, but a colonel ;
- that you can't sneeze with your eyes open ;
- that you know Barbra Millicent Roberts very well, but you don't know it;
- which Roman emperor was named after his sandals ;
- that elephants walk on tiptoe ;
...and thousands of other things!
